CREATOR MONETIZATION POLICY
(Complete & Detailed Reels Monetization, Advertising, Copyright & Revenue-Share Terms)
Effective Date: 18/07/2026
App Name: Battle Free
This Monetization Policy forms part of, and must be read together with, the Battle Free Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines.
1. Introduction & Purpose
This Creator Monetization Policy (“Monetization Policy”, “this Policy”) governs how creators, content uploaders, and Users of Battle Free (“we”, “us”, “our”, “the Platform”, “the App”) may earn real money through advertising revenue generated on Reels uploaded to the App. This Policy is designed to operate similarly in spirit to established creator-monetization systems used by platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, while being tailored specifically to Battle Free's own rules, revenue-share model, and community.
This Policy applies to every User who uploads a Reel, applies for monetization, or otherwise participates in, benefits from, or attempts to benefit from any advertising, revenue-share, or creator-payout feature of the App. By uploading a Reel, applying for monetization, or accepting any monetization payout, you agree to be fully bound by this Policy in its entirety, without modification.
Battle Free reserves the sole and absolute discretion to determine whether, when, and how any Reel, account, or User is monetized. Monetization is a privilege extended by Battle Free to eligible Users — it is not a right, entitlement, or guaranteed feature of using the App. Nothing in this Policy guarantees any specific level of earnings, ad revenue, views, or payout to any User.
2. Scope of Monetization — Reels Only
Battle Free currently supports monetization exclusively through Reels. This means:
• Only video content uploaded and categorized as a “Reel” within the App is eligible to carry advertisements and generate creator revenue.
• Stories, static image posts, text posts, comments, chat messages, and any other content format available on the App are NOT eligible for monetization, regardless of their popularity, views, or engagement.
• Users may continue to post Stories and other non-Reel content freely for social and engagement purposes, but no advertising revenue, payout, or creator fund distribution will ever be generated from, or attributed to, Stories or any non-Reel content format.
• If Battle Free introduces monetization for any additional content format in the future (including Stories, live-streaming, or other formats), such monetization will be governed by a separate or amended policy, and this Policy will be updated accordingly before such a feature is activated.
• A Reel repurposed, cross-posted, or re-uploaded as a Story, or vice versa, for the purpose of circumventing this Section, will be treated as a policy violation under Section 14 (Prohibited Monetization Practices).
3. How Advertising on Reels Works
Battle Free reserves the absolute right, at its sole discretion, to place, run, insert, skip, or withhold advertisements on any Reel uploaded to the App, in any format Battle Free deems appropriate, including but not limited to:
• Pre-roll advertisements shown before a Reel begins playing.
• Mid-roll advertisements inserted during the playback of a Reel.
• Post-roll advertisements shown after a Reel finishes playing.
• Overlay, banner, or in-feed advertisements displayed alongside or beneath a Reel while it is being viewed.
• Sponsored or promoted content inserted into a User's Reels feed between organic Reels.
Battle Free is not obligated to run advertisements on every Reel uploaded to the App. Whether an advertisement is shown on a particular Reel depends on multiple factors, including but not limited to advertiser demand, content category, content suitability for advertising (“advertiser-friendliness”), regional/country-specific ad availability, viewer eligibility (see Section 5), and Battle Free's own commercial arrangements with advertising partners and ad-networks at that point in time.
3.1 Direct Correlation Between Ads Served and Earnings
Monetization earnings under this Policy are directly and exclusively tied to actual advertisements served on a given Reel. This means:
• If an advertisement is successfully shown/played/displayed on a Reel and generates revenue from an advertiser, the Reel's Creator becomes eligible for a share of that specific ad revenue, subject to the eligibility, verification, and deduction terms set out in this Policy.
• If no advertisement is shown on a Reel — whether due to lack of advertiser demand, ineligible content, ineligible viewer, regional restrictions, ad-blocking, network failure, or any other reason — no monetization revenue will be generated or credited for that Reel's views during that period, and the Creator will not receive any payment for such non-monetized views.
• Views, likes, comments, shares, or follower growth on a Reel, by themselves, do NOT guarantee or entitle a Creator to any earnings. Only actual, verified advertising revenue generated from that Reel is shared with the Creator.
• Battle Free does not guarantee any minimum number, frequency, or value of advertisements that will be run on any Reel, account, or content category.
In short: monetize hoga to paisa milega, monetize nahi hoga to nahi milega — this principle is the foundation of this entire Policy and overrides any contrary expectation a Creator may have.
4. Ad Frequency, Placement & Advertiser Discretion
• The frequency, duration, format, and placement of advertisements on any Reel or within any User's feed is determined entirely by Battle Free's ad-serving system and/or its third-party advertising and ad-network partners.
• Battle Free may increase, decrease, pause, or entirely stop running advertisements on the Platform, in any region, category, or account, at any time, for business, legal, technical, or advertiser-relationship reasons, without prior notice to Creators.
• Battle Free may test different ad formats, frequencies, or placements on different Reels, accounts, or User segments for product-improvement, revenue-optimization, or experimental purposes (“A/B testing”), and Creators will not be separately compensated for participating in such tests beyond the standard revenue-share terms of this Policy.
• Certain categories of content (as described in Section 12 — Advertiser-Friendly Content Guidelines) may receive reduced advertisement volume, limited advertisement types, or no advertisements at all, even where the underlying content does not otherwise violate the Community Guidelines.
5. Advertisements Shown to Viewers — Free Users vs. Subscribed/Paid Users
The advertisements a viewer sees while browsing Reels on Battle Free depend on that viewer's own account type and subscription plan, as follows:
5.1 Free (Non-Subscribed) Users
• Users who are on the free tier of Battle Free (i.e., have not purchased any ad-related subscription plan) will be shown the standard volume and frequency of advertisements on Reels, as determined by Battle Free's ad-serving system from time to time.
• Free Users viewing Reels contribute to the advertisement impressions that generate revenue for Creators, subject to all other eligibility conditions in this Policy being met.
5.2 Subscribed / Paid-Plan Users
• Users who purchase an eligible paid subscription plan on Battle Free may, depending on the specific plan they hold, experience a reduced frequency of advertisements, a different mix of ad formats, or in some cases a substantially ad-free / ad-light viewing experience while browsing Reels.
• Whether a subscribed User sees fewer ads, no ads, or the same ads as a free User depends entirely on the specific subscription plan/tier purchased, its published benefits at the time of purchase, and Battle Free's discretion in implementing that plan. Not all subscription plans include ad-reduction or ad-free benefits; only plans that explicitly advertise such a benefit within the App will carry it.
• Where a subscribed User's viewing generates fewer or no ad impressions on a Creator's Reel as a result of an ad-free/ad-light plan, Creator earnings for views coming from that subscribed User will correspondingly be lower or nil for that view, since earnings are tied strictly to actual ads served (see Section 3.1).
• Battle Free may, at its discretion, separately allocate a portion of subscription-plan revenue (distinct from advertising revenue) toward a Creator fund or similar pool, the existence, structure, and distribution rules of which — if introduced — will be described in a future update to this Policy, and are not guaranteed under the current version of this Policy.
• Battle Free reserves the right to change, upgrade, downgrade, rename, or discontinue any subscription plan and its associated ad-experience benefits at any time, in accordance with the Subscription Policy in the main Terms & Conditions.
6. Creator Eligibility Criteria for Monetization
To apply for and be approved for Reels monetization on Battle Free, a User must satisfy all of the following minimum eligibility criteria at the time of application, and must continue to satisfy them at all times thereafter in order to remain monetized:
• Age: The User must be at least 18 years of age. Users below 18 years of age are not eligible to receive monetization payouts under this Policy, even if permitted to use other features of the App, unless a parent/legal guardian's verified account and consent process (if offered by Battle Free) is used, subject to Battle Free's sole discretion and applicable law.
• KYC Verification: The User must complete Battle Free's Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, including submission of valid government-issued identification and any other document Battle Free may require, before any monetization payout is released.
• Country of Residence Matching: The country selected/registered on the User's Battle Free account, the country reflected in the User's KYC documents, the country of the User's primary IP address/usage pattern, and the country associated with the User's linked payment/withdrawal account (UPI/bank) must all match and be consistent. Monetization earnings will be evaluated, taxed, and paid out strictly on the basis of the User's verified country of residence as established through this process.
• Minimum Follower Threshold: The User's account must have achieved and maintain a minimum number of genuine followers, as specified within the Monetization section of the App at the time of application (this minimum threshold may be revised by Battle Free from time to time).
• Minimum Views/Watch-Time Threshold: The User's Reels must have collectively achieved a minimum number of genuine views and/or aggregate watch-time over a defined trailing period (e.g., the preceding 30, 60, or 90 days, as specified in-App), as determined by Battle Free.
• Minimum Reel Count & Activity: The User must have uploaded a minimum number of original Reels and must maintain a reasonable level of ongoing posting activity, as specified in-App, to remain eligible.
• Clean Standing / No Active Strikes: The account must not have any active Community Guidelines strike, copyright strike, or unresolved policy violation (see Sections 15 and 16) at the time of application or at any time while monetized.
• Original Content Compliance: The account's Reels must be predominantly original content that complies with Section 9 (Original Content Requirement) of this Policy.
• Compliance with Advertiser-Friendly Guidelines: The account's content must generally comply with Section 12 (Advertiser-Friendly Content Guidelines).
• Acceptance of this Policy and the Terms & Conditions: The User must have read, accepted, and continue to comply with this Monetization Policy and Battle Free's main Terms & Conditions.
Meeting the above minimum thresholds does not automatically guarantee approval for monetization or continued monetization. Battle Free retains the sole and final discretion to approve, reject, pause, or revoke monetization eligibility for any account, at any time, with or without providing a specific reason, subject to the review/appeal process described in Section 17.
7. Monetization Application & Review Process
• Eligible Users may submit a monetization application through the designated section of the App once they believe they meet the eligibility criteria in Section 6.
• Battle Free will review the application, which may include an automated review, a manual review by the Battle Free team, or both, and may take a reasonable period of time to complete.
• Battle Free may request additional information, documents, or clarification from the User during the review process, and may reject an application that is incomplete or unresponsive to such requests.
• Upon approval, the User's account will be marked as a “Monetized Creator” account, and future Reels uploaded by that account will become eligible to carry advertisements, subject to the individual-Reel review described in Section 8.
• If an application is rejected, the User may be permitted to reapply after a cooling-off period specified within the App, provided the reasons for rejection (where disclosed) have been addressed.
• Battle Free may, at its discretion, proactively invite certain accounts to join monetization, or may run limited/beta monetization programs with modified criteria; participation in any such program remains subject to this Policy.
8. Per-Reel Monetization Review
Approval for the Monetized Creator status does not mean every single Reel uploaded by that Creator will automatically be monetized. Each individual Reel remains subject to independent review, which may be automated (including AI-based content classification), manual, or a combination of both, to determine:
• Whether the Reel complies with the Original Content Requirement (Section 9).
• Whether the Reel complies with the Copyright & Music Policy (Section 10).
• Whether the Reel complies with the Advertiser-Friendly Content Guidelines (Section 12).
• Whether the Reel complies with the Community Guidelines and does not contain any Prohibited Monetization Practice (Sections 13–14).
A Reel that fails this review may be labelled as “not monetized”, “limited monetization”, or “no ads” within the App, meaning it will not carry standard advertisements or will carry only a reduced/limited set of advertisements, even though the Reel and the Creator's account otherwise remain active. The Creator will generally be notified of such a status within the App's creator-dashboard, where technically feasible, along with the general reason category for the decision.
9. Original Content Requirement — No Third-Party or Reposted Content
Monetization on Battle Free is intended exclusively for genuine, original content created by the Creator. Accordingly, the following rules apply strictly to all Reels submitted for or already under monetization:
• Only real, original content that the Creator has personally filmed, recorded, produced, or substantially and creatively transformed may be submitted for monetization.
• Content copied, downloaded, screen-recorded, or otherwise sourced from any third-party application or platform (including but not limited to Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, or any other social media, video, or content-sharing service) is strictly prohibited from being uploaded as a Reel for monetization purposes, regardless of whether the Creator personally appears in that content.
• Content belonging to, filmed by, or originally posted by another Battle Free User, without that User's express written permission and without proper attribution/authorization recorded with Battle Free, must never be re-uploaded, reposted, or resubmitted by a different account for monetization.
• Simply re-editing, re-cropping, watermark-removing, speeding up/slowing down, adding a filter to, or otherwise making cosmetic changes to someone else's original content does NOT make it “original content” for the purposes of this Policy, and such Reels will be denied monetization and may result in a copyright strike under Section 16.
• Compilation-style content (e.g., collections of clips sourced from other creators or the internet), reaction videos primarily consisting of someone else's footage, and “faceless” channels built entirely around reposted third-party clips are not eligible for monetization on Battle Free, even if such formats may be permitted (with different rules) on other platforms.
• Users are permitted to post Stories using any content of their choice, subject to the Community Guidelines and copyright law, since Stories are not monetized under Section 2. However, this exception does NOT extend to Reels; a Story-eligible piece of borrowed/third-party content still cannot be repurposed as a monetized Reel.
• Battle Free may use automated content-matching / fingerprinting technology to detect content that has been copied or reposted from third-party platforms or from other Battle Free Users, and may deny, remove monetization from, or take down any Reel identified as non-original.
• Repeated or serious violations of this Original Content Requirement will result in permanent revocation of monetization eligibility, and may additionally result in account suspension or termination under the main Terms & Conditions.
10. Copyright, Music & Sound Policy
This Section governs the use of music, songs, background audio, and other copyrighted sound or audiovisual material in Reels uploaded to Battle Free, and describes the copyright claim and strike system applicable to monetization.
10.1 General Copyright Ownership Requirement
• Creators must only use music, sound recordings, video clips, images, or other copyrighted material in their Reels if they own the rights to that material, have obtained a valid licence or permission to use it, or are using audio that Battle Free has expressly made available for use within the App's official/licensed sound library (if and when such a library is introduced).
• Using commercially released songs, film audio, copyrighted background scores, or any other third-party audio without a valid licence is a violation of copyright law and of this Policy, even where such use might be considered common practice on other social platforms.
10.2 Copyright Claims
• Where Battle Free's automated systems, a rights holder, or a designated copyright agent identifies that a Reel contains copyrighted music, audio, or visual content belonging to a third party, that Reel may receive a “Copyright Claim.”
• A Copyright Claim may result in one or more of the following outcomes, at the discretion of the rights holder and/or Battle Free: (a) the Reel remains live but all monetization/advertising revenue from that Reel is redirected to the rights holder instead of the Creator; (b) the Reel's audio is muted or replaced; (c) the Reel's visibility/reach is restricted; or (d) the Reel is removed from the Platform entirely.
• A Copyright Claim, by itself, is generally treated as a lesser, non-punitive enforcement action targeted at revenue redirection and does not automatically count as a Copyright Strike against the Creator's account; however, repeated Copyright Claims on the same account may be escalated to a formal Copyright Strike at Battle Free's discretion, particularly where a pattern of intentional infringement is evident.
10.3 Copyright Strikes
• A formal “Copyright Strike” is a more serious enforcement action issued where a valid, substantiated copyright-infringement complaint (including a formal takedown notice from a rights holder or their authorized representative) has been received and verified against a specific Reel and Creator account.
• Battle Free operates a strike-based enforcement system for copyright infringement, broadly modelled on industry-standard practice:
◦ First Copyright Strike: The offending Reel is removed. The Creator receives a formal warning, is required to complete a copyright-education acknowledgment within the App, and monetization on the account may be temporarily paused for a specified review period.
◦ Second Copyright Strike (within a rolling 90-day period, or such period as specified in-App): The offending Reel is removed, monetization eligibility for the account is suspended for an extended period, and the account's reach/visibility on the Platform may be restricted.
◦ Third Copyright Strike (within the same rolling period): The account's monetization eligibility is permanently revoked, and the account itself may be suspended or permanently terminated in accordance with the main Terms & Conditions.
• Copyright Strikes automatically expire from a Creator's record after the rolling period specified within the App (e.g., 90 days), provided no further valid strike is issued during that period, unless the underlying infringement was severe or repeated, in which case Battle Free may retain the strike on record for a longer period or permanently, at its discretion.
10.4 Strike Holder Rights & Rights-Holder Claims
• A rights holder (“Strike Holder”/“Claimant”) who believes their copyrighted work has been used without authorization in a Reel may submit a copyright complaint/takedown request through the designated copyright-reporting channel within the App or via the contact details in Section 37.
• Battle Free will review such complaints in good faith and, where the complaint is substantiated, will take appropriate action as described in Sections 10.2 and 10.3, which may include monetization redirection, content removal, and issuance of a strike against the uploading Creator's account.
• Battle Free reserves the right to disable access to allegedly infringing content on a precautionary basis while a copyright complaint is under review, even before a final determination is made.
10.5 Counter-Notification / Dispute Process
• A Creator who believes a Copyright Claim or Copyright Strike was issued in error — for example, because they own the rights to the content, have a valid licence, or the use qualifies as a permitted exception under applicable law — may submit a dispute/counter-notification through the App's appeal process described in Section 17.
• Battle Free will review the dispute and may reinstate the Reel, remove the strike, and restore any withheld monetization if the dispute is found to be valid. Knowingly submitting a false or bad-faith counter-notification is itself a violation of this Policy and may result in independent penalties.
11. Revenue-Share Model — 45% Platform / 55% Creator
Battle Free operates a fixed revenue-share model for all advertising revenue generated on monetized Reels, as follows:
• Of the total, actual advertising revenue generated by a monetized Reel (after deduction of any third-party ad-network or ad-serving costs already built into the gross figure reported to Battle Free, if applicable), Battle Free retains forty-five percent (45%) as its platform fee/commission.
• The remaining fifty-five percent (55%) of such advertising revenue is allocated to the Creator whose Reel generated that revenue, subject to the deductions, verification, and payout terms described in this Policy.
• This 45%/55% split represents Battle Free's standard revenue-share arrangement as of the Effective Date of this Policy and may be revised by Battle Free from time to time, at its sole discretion, in accordance with Section 22 (Amendments). Any revision will be published within the App and will apply prospectively to revenue generated after the effective date of such revision, unless otherwise stated.
• The 45% platform share is applied to cover, among other things, hosting and bandwidth costs, payment-processing and withdrawal-processing costs, ad-serving infrastructure, content moderation and copyright-enforcement systems, fraud prevention, and general platform operations.
• The revenue-share model described in this Section applies exclusively to advertising revenue generated on Reels. It does not apply to Wallet top-ups, Shop purchases, subscription fees, referral rewards, or Job Program payments, each of which is governed by its own separate provisions in the main Terms & Conditions.
12. Tax, GST & Statutory Deductions on Creator Earnings
• Any applicable tax, including Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)/income tax, Goods and Services Tax (GST), or any other statutory levy applicable to a Creator's monetization earnings, shall be calculated and, where legally required, deducted only from the Creator's fifty-five percent (55%) share of advertising revenue described in Section 11 — and never from Battle Free's forty-five percent (45%) platform share.
• Where Battle Free is legally required to deduct tax at source before crediting a Creator's earnings to their Wallet, such deduction will be clearly itemized in the Creator's payout/earnings statement within the App, and will be based on the applicable rate under the tax laws of the Creator's verified country of residence (see Section 6 — Country of Residence Matching).
• Where GST or an equivalent indirect tax is applicable on the services provided by the Creator to Battle Free (or vice versa, depending on the legal characterization of the arrangement in the Creator's jurisdiction), such GST/equivalent tax will similarly be calculated with reference to, and settled out of, the Creator's 55% share only.
• Beyond any statutory deduction Battle Free is legally obligated to make, Creators remain solely and fully responsible for correctly declaring, filing, and paying any income tax, GST, or other tax liability arising from their monetization earnings under the tax laws applicable to them, including any liability arising in their country of residence. Battle Free does not provide tax advice and does not act as the Creator's tax agent, except to the limited extent of any legally mandated deduction-at-source described above.
• Creators are encouraged to maintain their own records of monetization earnings for their personal tax-filing purposes, and may request a statement of earnings from Battle Free's support team where reasonably available.
13. Country of Residence, Currency & Regional Eligibility
• Monetization eligibility, ad availability, revenue rates, tax treatment, and payout currency are all determined based on the Creator's single, verified country of residence, established through the account's registered country, KYC documentation, dominant usage/IP pattern, and linked payment/withdrawal account, all of which must be consistent as described in Section 6.
• Advertising demand, ad rates (i.e., the amount an advertiser pays per impression/view), and therefore Creator earnings, naturally vary by country/region and by advertiser category, and Battle Free does not guarantee uniform earnings across different countries or regions.
• If a Creator's usage pattern, IP address history, or declared location changes materially and no longer matches their originally verified country of residence, Battle Free may require the Creator to complete re-verification of their country before continuing to process further monetization payouts, and may temporarily pause payouts during such re-verification.
• Battle Free may restrict, limit, or entirely withhold monetization availability in specific countries or regions where required by local law, regulatory restriction, payment-infrastructure limitations, or advertiser-demand limitations, at its sole discretion.
• All monetization payouts will be made in the currency and through the payment method/channel supported for the Creator's verified country of residence, as made available within the App from time to time.
14. Payment Schedule, Minimum Thresholds & Withdrawal of Monetization Earnings
• Monetization earnings accrued under this Policy will first be credited to the Creator's in-App Wallet, in accordance with the payment cycle/schedule displayed within the Monetization section of the App (for example, on a periodic basis such as weekly or monthly, as determined by Battle Free).
• A minimum earnings/payout threshold may apply before accrued monetization revenue becomes eligible for withdrawal from the Wallet to the Creator's linked bank account or UPI; this minimum threshold will be displayed within the App and may be revised from time to time.
• Earnings that remain below the minimum withdrawal threshold will continue to accumulate in the Creator's Wallet across subsequent payment cycles until the threshold is met, subject to the general Wallet terms in the main Terms & Conditions (including KYC requirements for withdrawal).
• All monetization payouts remain subject to the general Wallet, Payment, and No-Refund provisions of the main Terms & Conditions, including verification requirements, processing timelines, and Battle Free's non-liability for delays caused by banks, UPI, or payment gateways.
• Battle Free reserves the right to place a monetization payout on hold, pending further review, where fraud, policy violation, a payment/banking discrepancy, or a pending copyright/community-guidelines dispute is identified in connection with the relevant earnings.
• Battle Free may adjust, correct, or claw back monetization earnings credited in error (for example, due to a technical/calculation error, confirmed ad-fraud, or a successful rights-holder claim), including by deducting the erroneously credited amount from future earnings or Wallet balance, where such earnings have not yet been withdrawn.
15. Advertiser-Friendly Content Guidelines
Advertisers generally prefer their advertisements to appear alongside content that is safe, appropriate, and suitable for a broad audience. Accordingly, Reels that fall into any of the following categories may receive limited advertisements, no advertisements, or may be excluded from monetization entirely, even if the content does not rise to the level of a Community Guidelines violation warranting removal:
• Content containing excessive profanity, vulgar language, or crude humor as the central theme.
• Content depicting or glorifying violence, dangerous stunts, or dangerous/harmful challenges.
• Content containing sexually suggestive material, even where it does not meet the threshold of explicit content prohibited outright under the Community Guidelines.
• Content relating to sensitive social, political, or religious issues presented in an inflammatory, one-sided, or controversial manner.
• Content promoting or referencing alcohol, tobacco, gambling, real-money gaming (other than Battle Free's own permitted tournament features), or regulated substances.
• Content containing graphic or disturbing imagery, including real or simulated injury, death, or medical procedures.
• Content that is primarily clickbait, misleading, or deceptive in its title, thumbnail, or framing relative to its actual substance.
• Content that has been repeated excessively (near-duplicate re-uploads of the same or highly similar Reel) in a manner inconsistent with genuine creative output.
Battle Free's automated classification systems and/or human review team will assess Reels against these guidelines on an ongoing basis, and a Creator's monetization status for individual Reels may change if a Reel is later found to fall within one of the above categories, even after initially being approved for monetization.
16. Prohibited Monetization Practices & Ad-Fraud
The following practices are strictly prohibited in connection with monetization on Battle Free, regardless of intent, and will result in penalties described in Section 17:
• Using bots, click-farms, view-farms, automation scripts, or any artificial means to inflate views, watch-time, likes, comments, shares, or follower counts on a Reel or account.
• Self-viewing or repeatedly viewing/replaying one's own Reels (including through multiple devices, browser refreshes, or secondary accounts) with the intent of artificially inflating ad-impression counts.
• Incentivized viewing schemes, including paying, rewarding, or otherwise inducing third parties (including other Users) to view, replay, or interact with a Reel purely to generate artificial ad revenue rather than genuine interest.
• Clicking on one's own advertisements, or inducing others to click on advertisements displayed on one's own Reels, for the purpose of generating fraudulent ad revenue.
• Operating or coordinating multiple accounts (“multi-accounting”) to artificially cross-promote, cross-view, or cross-engage with content for monetization purposes.
• Manipulating, spoofing, or falsifying device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data to circumvent country-eligibility, ad-targeting, or fraud-detection systems.
• Uploading non-original or copyrighted content in violation of Sections 9 and 10 for the purpose of generating monetization revenue.
• Uploading spam, repetitive, low-effort, or auto-generated content solely for the purpose of maximizing ad impressions without providing genuine value or entertainment to viewers.
• Circumventing or attempting to circumvent Battle Free's monetization review systems, country-matching checks, or copyright-detection systems by any technical or non-technical means.
• Selling, transferring, renting, or otherwise providing access to a monetized account to another individual or entity.
17. Enforcement, Penalties & Community-Guidelines Strikes
Violations of this Policy (including the Prohibited Monetization Practices in Section 16, the Original Content Requirement in Section 9, the Advertiser-Friendly Guidelines in Section 15, or the Community Guidelines in the main Terms & Conditions) may result in one or more of the following actions, at Battle Free's sole discretion, depending on the severity, intent, and history of the violation:
• A formal written warning recorded against the Creator's account.
• Demonetization of the specific Reel(s) found in violation, including removal or redirection of any associated ad revenue.
• A Community Guidelines Strike recorded against the account, following a graduated system similar to the copyright-strike system in Section 10.3 (first strike — warning and temporary monetization pause; second strike — extended monetization suspension and reach restriction; third strike — permanent revocation of monetization and possible account suspension).
• Immediate suspension of the Creator's overall monetization eligibility, independent of any per-Reel action, pending investigation.
• Forfeiture and claw-back of any earnings found to be attributable to fraudulent, artificial, or policy-violating activity, whether or not such earnings have already been credited to the Creator's Wallet.
• Permanent revocation of monetization eligibility for the account, with no right to reapply, in cases of serious, repeated, or intentional fraud.
• Suspension or termination of the entire Battle Free account, in accordance with the main Terms & Conditions, in serious or repeat cases.
• Referral of the matter to law-enforcement or regulatory authorities where the conduct may constitute a criminal offence (for example, large-scale ad-fraud or copyright piracy), and cooperation with any resulting investigation.
18. Review, Appeal & Reinstatement Process
• A Creator who disagrees with a monetization-related decision — including denial of a monetization application, demonetization of a specific Reel, a Community Guidelines Strike, or a Copyright Strike — may submit an appeal through the designated appeal/support channel within the App, generally within a specified number of days of the decision (as indicated at the time the decision is communicated).
• Appeals should include any relevant supporting information, such as proof of original ownership of content, licensing documentation, or an explanation of the circumstances, to assist Battle Free's review.
• Battle Free will review appeals in good faith and will communicate the outcome of the review to the Creator through the App. Battle Free's decision following an appeal is final and binding.
• Where an appeal is successful, Battle Free will reinstate monetization eligibility, remove the relevant strike, and/or restore withheld earnings, as appropriate to the specific case, subject to the overall payout and verification terms of this Policy.
• Filing repeated frivolous, bad-faith, or knowingly false appeals may itself be treated as a violation of this Policy.
19. Reporting Copyright Infringement & Policy Violations
• Any User, rights holder, or third party who believes a Reel on Battle Free infringes their copyright, or otherwise violates this Policy or the Community Guidelines, may submit a report through the in-App reporting tool or via the contact details in Section 37.
• Reports should include sufficient detail to allow Battle Free to identify the specific Reel, the nature of the alleged violation, and, in the case of a copyright complaint, proof or a good-faith statement of ownership/authorization over the relevant work.
• Battle Free will review all good-faith reports and take appropriate action as described in this Policy. Knowingly submitting a false or malicious report is itself a violation of the Terms & Conditions and may result in penalties against the reporting User.
20. Relationship to Other Policies & No Employment Relationship
• This Monetization Policy supplements, and does not replace, Battle Free's main Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines. In the event of any direct conflict between this Policy and the main Terms & Conditions on a matter specific to Reels monetization, this Policy shall govern to the extent of that specific matter; on all other matters, the main Terms & Conditions shall continue to apply.
• Participation in monetization does not create any employer-employee relationship, partnership, joint venture, franchise, or agency relationship between the Creator and Battle Free. Creators are independent Users of the Platform and are not entitled to any employment benefit, statutory due, insurance, or similar entitlement as a result of their monetization activity.
• Monetization earnings are distinct from, and not to be confused with, tournament winnings, Job Program payments, referral rewards, or Shop-related earnings, each of which is governed separately under the main Terms & Conditions.
21. Limitation of Liability & No Guarantee of Earnings
• Battle Free makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee regarding the amount, consistency, or continuity of any monetization earnings a Creator may receive. Advertising demand, ad rates, viewer behaviour, and platform policies may change at any time and may materially affect a Creator's earnings without any liability to Battle Free.
• Battle Free shall not be liable for any loss of anticipated earnings, loss of opportunity, or other indirect or consequential loss arising from a change to this Policy, a change in ad rates or ad demand, a monetization suspension/revocation carried out in accordance with this Policy, or a technical failure affecting ad-serving or payout systems.
• This Section operates in addition to, and does not limit, the general Limitation of Liability and Owner Liability Shield provisions contained in the main Terms & Conditions.
22. Amendments to This Policy
Battle Free reserves the right to amend, update, revise, or replace this Monetization Policy at any time, at its sole discretion, including but not limited to changes to the revenue-share percentage, eligibility thresholds, advertiser-friendly guidelines, strike system, or payout terms. Material changes will be communicated within the App and/or via the Creator's registered contact details, where reasonably practicable, and the “Effective Date” at the top of this document will be updated. Continued participation in monetization, or continued upload of Reels, after any such amendment constitutes the Creator's acceptance of the revised Policy.
23. Severability
If any provision of this Policy is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, and the affected provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent as closely as possible.
24. Illustrative Example of Revenue Calculation
The following illustrative example is provided purely to help Creators understand how the revenue-share model in Section 11 and the tax treatment in Section 12 operate together in practice. This example uses round, hypothetical figures and does not represent any guaranteed or expected level of actual earnings.
• Assume a Creator's Reel generates a total of ₹1,000 in gross advertising revenue during a given payout cycle, as reported by Battle Free's ad-serving/ad-network systems.
• Battle Free retains its platform share of 45%, i.e., ₹450, as its commission for hosting, ad-serving, moderation, and operational costs.
• The remaining 55%, i.e., ₹550, is provisionally allocated to the Creator as their gross monetization earnings for that Reel/cycle.
• If applicable tax (for example, TDS/income tax and/or GST under the Creator's country's laws) is legally required to be deducted at source, such tax is calculated only on the Creator's ₹550 share — for illustration, if a combined statutory deduction of 10% applied, ₹55 would be deducted, leaving ₹495 net payable to the Creator.
• The final net amount (₹495 in this illustration) is credited to the Creator's in-App Wallet, subject to the minimum withdrawal threshold and payout schedule described in Section 14.
• Battle Free's 45% share (₹450 in this illustration) is never reduced by the Creator's personal tax obligations, and the Creator's tax obligations are never calculated on Battle Free's 45% share — each party's share and associated deductions remain fully separate, as set out in Section 12.
Actual figures, currency, applicable tax rates, and payout thresholds will vary by country, by prevailing law, and by Battle Free's published rates at the relevant time; this example is for conceptual illustration only and creates no binding entitlement to any specific amount.
25. Quick-Reference: Do's and Don'ts for Monetized Creators
25.1 Do's
• Do upload only content that you personally filmed, created, or substantially and creatively produced yourself.
• Do complete your KYC verification fully and keep your registered country, ID documents, and payment details consistent with each other.
• Do use only music/audio you own, are licensed to use, or that is provided within Battle Free's own official sound library (if made available).
• Do review the Advertiser-Friendly Content Guidelines in Section 15 before posting content on sensitive themes.
• Do report any content you believe infringes your copyright or violates this Policy through the proper in-App channel.
• Do keep your own personal records of monetization earnings for your tax-filing purposes.
• Do reach out through the appeal process in Section 18 if you believe a monetization decision was made in error, rather than attempting to circumvent enforcement.
25.2 Don'ts
• Don't repost, re-upload, or lightly edit content taken from Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, or any other third-party platform and submit it as your own Reel.
• Don't use another Battle Free User's original content without their express permission.
• Don't use bots, click-farms, view-exchanges, or self-viewing to inflate your Reel's performance.
• Don't operate multiple accounts to artificially cross-promote or cross-view your own content.
• Don't attempt to spoof your location, IP address, or device identity to bypass country-eligibility checks.
• Don't use commercially copyrighted songs, movie clips, or broadcast footage without a valid licence.
• Don't submit false or bad-faith appeals, counter-notifications, or infringement reports.
• Don't assume that high views or likes alone guarantee monetization revenue — only actual served advertisements generate revenue, as explained in Section 3.
26. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1. My Reel got a lot of views but I did not receive any earnings. Why?
Views alone do not generate revenue. Revenue is generated only when an actual advertisement is served on your Reel and an advertiser pays for that impression. If no ad was shown — due to low advertiser demand for your content category, viewer ad-eligibility (see Section 5), regional ad restrictions, or your Reel not passing per-Reel review (Section 8) — no revenue is generated for those views, in line with Section 3.1 of this Policy.
Q2. Can I post someone else's viral video as a Reel if I give them credit?
No. Giving credit/attribution does not satisfy the Original Content Requirement in Section 9. Only content you personally created, or content you have documented rights/licence to use, may be submitted as a monetized Reel.
Q3. Can I use a trending song in my Reel?
Only if you own the rights to that song, hold a valid licence, or the song is made available through Battle Free's own official, licensed sound library (where such a library exists within the App). Using a commercially released song without such rights may result in a Copyright Claim or Copyright Strike under Section 10.
Q4. Will I see ads if I buy a subscription plan?
It depends entirely on the specific subscription plan you purchase. Some plans may reduce ad frequency or offer a largely ad-free viewing experience; others may not affect ads at all. The exact benefit of each plan is described where that plan is offered within the App, as explained in Section 5.2.
Q5. Can I monetize my Stories?
No. As explained in Section 2, monetization on Battle Free is currently available exclusively for Reels. Stories, posts, and all other content formats are not eligible for advertising revenue under this Policy, regardless of their popularity.
Q6. What happens if I get three copyright strikes?
A third Copyright Strike within the applicable rolling period results in permanent revocation of your monetization eligibility, and your account itself may additionally be suspended or terminated under the main Terms & Conditions, as described in Section 10.3.
Q7. Why does Battle Free keep 45% of the ad revenue?
The 45% platform share, described in Section 11, covers the costs of running the Platform — including hosting, bandwidth, ad-serving infrastructure, payment processing, content moderation, copyright enforcement, and fraud prevention — that make monetization possible in the first place.
Q8. I live in one country but I am currently travelling in another. Will this affect my monetization?
Temporary travel is unlikely to affect your account by itself, but if your usage pattern, IP address history, or declared location changes materially and no longer matches your originally verified country of residence over a sustained period, Battle Free may require re-verification before continuing to process your payouts, as described in Section 13.
Q9. Can Battle Free change the 45%/55% split in the future?
Yes. Battle Free may revise the revenue-share percentage, along with any other term of this Policy, at its sole discretion, as described in Section 22. Any such change will be published within the App and will generally apply prospectively to revenue generated after the change takes effect.
Q10. What should I do if I think my monetization was removed unfairly?
You should use the in-App appeal process described in Section 18 and provide any supporting evidence (such as proof of original ownership or a valid licence). Battle Free will review the matter in good faith and communicate the outcome to you.

28. Version History
Battle Free will maintain a record of material changes made to this Monetization Policy over time. The current version supersedes all prior versions as of the Effective Date shown at the top of this document.
• Version 1.0 — Initial publication of the Battle Free Creator Monetization Policy, covering Reels-only monetization, the 45%/55% revenue-share model, country-based eligibility, and the copyright claim/strike system.
29. Illustrative Case Studies — How Enforcement Applies in Practice
The following hypothetical scenarios are provided to help Creators understand how the rules in this Policy are typically applied. These examples are illustrative only; actual outcomes always depend on the specific facts of each case and remain within Battle Free's discretion.
Case Study 1 — Reposted Instagram Reel
A Creator downloads a trending Reel from Instagram using a third-party downloader app, removes the Instagram watermark, and re-uploads it to Battle Free as their own Reel. Outcome: this violates the Original Content Requirement in Section 9. The Reel is denied monetization or removed, and depending on severity and repetition, the Creator may receive a Community Guidelines Strike or Copyright Strike, and may lose monetization eligibility.
Case Study 2 — Trending Commercial Song Used as Background Audio
A Creator uses a popular, commercially released film song as background audio for a dance Reel without holding any licence. Outcome: the Reel may receive a Copyright Claim, redirecting its ad revenue to the rights holder, or — if the rights holder files a formal takedown — a Copyright Strike under Section 10.3, with the Reel muted, restricted, or removed.
Case Study 3 — View-Botting Through Multiple Devices
A Creator uses several old smartphones and SIM cards to repeatedly view and replay their own Reels to inflate view counts and ad impressions. Outcome: this is Ad Fraud under Section 16. Any artificially generated earnings are clawed back, and the account may face immediate suspension of monetization and, in serious cases, permanent revocation and account termination.
Case Study 4 — Genuine Gameplay Highlight Reel
A Creator records their own Free Fire or BGMI gameplay directly from their device, adds their own voice commentary and original editing, and uploads it as a Reel. Outcome: this satisfies the Original Content Requirement, and — provided it also meets the Advertiser-Friendly Guidelines in Section 15 and does not use unlicensed music — the Reel is generally eligible for standard monetization review under Section 8.
Case Study 5 — Reposting Another User's Battle Free Reel
A Creator notices another Battle Free User's Reel going viral, saves it, and re-uploads it to their own account without permission. Outcome: this violates Section 9. The original Creator may file a report under Section 19, and the copying account may face demonetization, a strike, and possible suspension.
Case Study 6 — Country Mismatch
A Creator registers their Battle Free account with Country A during sign-up but their KYC documents, banking details, and long-term IP/usage history consistently show Country B. Outcome: Battle Free may pause monetization payouts and require the Creator to complete re-verification of their true country of residence under Section 13 before releasing further payments.
30. Data Used for Ad-Serving, Personalization & Monetization Analytics
• To operate the advertising and monetization systems described in this Policy, Battle Free and its advertising/ad-network partners may process certain data relating to Reels and viewers, including view counts, watch-time, engagement metrics, general device/browser type, approximate location (for country-eligibility and regional ad-targeting purposes), and non-sensitive interest/category signals derived from in-App activity.
• This data is used strictly to serve relevant advertisements, calculate ad revenue and impressions accurately, detect ad-fraud, and generate the analytics/earnings dashboards shown to Creators within the App.
• Consistent with the Data Privacy Section of Battle Free's main Terms & Conditions, this monetization- and advertising-related data is not sold to third parties for their independent purposes, and is shared with advertising/ad-network partners only to the extent necessary to serve and measure advertisements on the Platform.
• Creators can access their own Reel-level performance and earnings data through the in-App creator dashboard, where such a dashboard is made available, to help them understand which Reels are generating ad impressions and revenue.
31. Dispute Resolution Specific to Monetization Matters
Any dispute, disagreement, or claim relating specifically to monetization decisions, revenue-share calculations, copyright claims/strikes, or payout amounts under this Policy should first be raised through the in-App appeal and support channels described in Sections 18 and 19, to allow Battle Free the opportunity to review and resolve the matter internally.
If a dispute cannot be resolved through the internal appeal process, it shall be treated as a dispute arising under the main Terms & Conditions and shall be subject to the same governing law, jurisdiction, and dispute-resolution provisions set out in the Jurisdiction & Governing Law section of the main Terms & Conditions, including the courts designated therein.
Nothing in this Section prevents Battle Free from taking immediate, precautionary enforcement action (such as pausing a payout or disabling a Reel) while a dispute is under review, where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, comply with a legal notice, or protect the integrity of the Platform.
32. Creator Support & Resources
• Battle Free will endeavor to make available, within the App, a Creator dashboard showing monetization status, per-Reel eligibility, estimated/actual earnings, and any active strikes, where technically feasible.
• Battle Free may periodically publish educational material, tips, or guidance within the App or through official communication channels to help Creators understand how to remain compliant with this Policy and improve their monetization outcomes.
• Creators experiencing genuine technical issues with ad-serving, payout calculation, or dashboard reporting should contact Battle Free support using the details in Section 33 so the matter can be investigated.
33. Special Provisions for Esports & Gameplay Reels (Free Fire, BGMI & Other Titles)
Given that Battle Free is built around esports tournaments, this Section provides additional clarity on how the Monetization Policy applies specifically to gameplay-based Reels, such as highlights, kill-montages, tutorials, and tournament recaps from titles including Free Fire, BGMI, and any other game supported on the Platform.
• Gameplay footage that a Creator has personally recorded from their own device, own gameplay session, or own tournament match on Battle Free is treated as original content for the purposes of Section 9, provided it is not itself a re-recording or screen-capture of another player's or another platform's broadcast/stream without permission.
• Creators may add their own original commentary, voiceover, on-screen text, editing, and transitions to their gameplay Reels; such additions are encouraged and support a stronger Original Content Requirement position.
• In-game background music and sound effects that are part of the game's own default audio (as licensed by the game publisher to all players generally) may generally be used as part of a gameplay Reel's natural audio; however, Creators should still comply with Section 10 where they choose to add separate, external commercial music over their gameplay footage.
• Gameplay Reels remain fully subject to the Advertiser-Friendly Content Guidelines in Section 15; for example, gameplay clips containing excessive toxic language, simulated real-world violence framed as glorification, or content that a game publisher itself flags as violating its own broadcast guidelines may receive limited or no monetization.
• Battle Free is not affiliated with Garena Free Fire, Krafton BGMI, or any other game publisher, and monetization of gameplay Reels under this Policy is entirely separate from, and has no bearing on, any monetization program, partner program, or content policy that such publishers may operate independently on their own platforms.
• Tournament winnings earned through gameplay (governed by the main Terms & Conditions) are separate and distinct from Reels monetization earnings (governed by this Policy); a Creator may earn both simultaneously, but each is calculated, taxed, and paid out under its own respective set of rules.
34. Additional Frequently Asked Questions
Q11. Can I monetize a gameplay clip that includes a copyrighted song playing in the background of my room, picked up accidentally by my microphone?
Even incidental or accidental background music can trigger automated copyright-detection systems and result in a Copyright Claim under Section 10.2. Creators are encouraged to record gameplay in a quiet environment or use in-game/licensed audio only, to avoid unintended claims.
Q12. If my Reel is demonetized, can I edit and re-upload it to fix the issue?
You may upload a corrected, compliant version of your content as a new Reel; however, simply re-uploading the same non-compliant Reel without addressing the underlying issue (such as removing infringing audio or ensuring the content is genuinely original) will likely result in the same outcome, and repeated attempts to bypass enforcement may be treated as a Prohibited Monetization Practice under Section 16.
Q13. Does deleting a Reel remove an associated strike?
No. Deleting a Reel after a Copyright Strike or Community Guidelines Strike has already been issued does not remove the strike from your account record. Strikes are tied to the account's compliance history, not merely to the continued existence of the offending Reel.
Q14. Can I appeal a decision more than once?
You may generally submit one appeal per decision through the process in Section 18. If new, materially relevant information becomes available after an appeal has already been decided, you may contact support to ask whether a further review is possible, though this remains at Battle Free's discretion.
Q15. Will my monetization eligibility be affected if I stop posting Reels for a while?
Extended inactivity may affect your ongoing eligibility if it causes you to fall below the minimum activity or Reel-count thresholds described in Section 6. Your account itself may also become subject to the Inactive Accounts provision of the main Terms & Conditions.
35. Branded Content, Sponsorships & Paid Partnerships
Creators may, independently of Battle Free's own advertising system, enter into private paid-partnership or sponsorship arrangements with brands or third parties to feature products, services, or promotions within their Reels (“Branded Content”). The following rules apply to Branded Content on Battle Free:
• Creators must clearly and conspicuously disclose Branded Content as sponsored, paid, or a paid partnership, whether through an on-screen disclosure, a spoken disclosure, or a designated Branded Content tag/label if and when such a feature is made available within the App, in order to comply with applicable advertising-disclosure laws and to maintain viewer trust.
• Branded Content must still fully comply with the Original Content Requirement (Section 9), Copyright Policy (Section 10), Advertiser-Friendly Content Guidelines (Section 15), and Community Guidelines; a brand's involvement does not exempt a Reel from any provision of this Policy.
• Branded Content must not promote any product or service that is illegal, restricted, or prohibited under applicable law or under Battle Free's Community Guidelines, including but not limited to unlicensed gambling/betting services, counterfeit goods, or restricted substances.
• Revenue earned by a Creator directly from a private brand deal or sponsorship (i.e., paid directly by the brand to the Creator, outside of Battle Free's own ad-serving system) is not subject to the 45%/55% revenue-share model in Section 11, since it does not constitute advertising revenue generated through Battle Free's ad-serving system; however, any payment routed through the Battle Free Wallet may still be subject to applicable payment-processing/service charges described in the main Terms & Conditions, and remains fully subject to the Creator's own personal tax obligations.
• Battle Free reserves the right to review, restrict, or remove any Branded Content Reel found to violate this Policy, to require additional disclosure where it is missing or inadequate, or to decline to serve its own advertisements alongside Branded Content that it deems unsuitable for its advertiser base.
• Creators are solely responsible for the terms, payment, and performance of their own private brand/sponsorship arrangements; Battle Free is not a party to, and assumes no liability in connection with, any such third-party agreement between a Creator and a brand.
36. Summary — Strike System at a Glance
The table below summarizes, in simplified form, the graduated enforcement approach described in detail in Sections 10.3 and 17. It is provided as a quick-reference summary only; the full text of Sections 10.3 and 17 governs in the event of any inconsistency.
Copyright Strikes
• 1st Strike: Reel removed — warning issued — copyright-education acknowledgment required — monetization temporarily paused for review.
• 2nd Strike (within rolling period): Reel removed — monetization suspended for an extended period — account reach/visibility restricted.
• 3rd Strike (within rolling period): Monetization permanently revoked — account may be suspended or terminated.
Community Guidelines Strikes (Monetization-Related)
• 1st Strike: Formal warning — specific Reel(s) demonetized.
• 2nd Strike: Extended monetization suspension — possible reach restriction.
• 3rd Strike: Permanent revocation of monetization — possible full account suspension/termination.
Ad-Fraud / Prohibited Monetization Practices
• Any confirmed instance: Immediate claw-back of fraudulently generated earnings, regardless of strike count, plus escalation directly to suspension or permanent revocation depending on scale and intent, as described in Section 17.
